Wednesday was a free-for-all, do whatever you want kind of day.
So, Clark and I rented beach cruisers and took off for a few hours :)
Such a grand time. And (as always), beach time to end the day.
Thursday, we started our day at the San Diego Temple. It was beautiful. I cannot even describe how amazing the Celestial room was. There was a hidden atrium that let you look up at the spires and the angel Moroni. Thank goodness Mimi knew about it! It was also so precious that my entire immediate family was able to attend the temple together. So blessed :)
So glad I can be with him for eternity :)
The rest of the day was another beach day. Except it was different.
Because I made THIS.
There were copious amounts of sea weed in the ocean on Thursday and, quite frankly, I got sick of it. So... I started getting rid of it... I'm kind of weird.
Even my uncle got in on the seaweed action!
Clark started a game of Ultimate Frisbee.
And pretty soon the whole family joined in :)
And then we saw these guys. Welcome to California.
We said goodbye to my seaweed pile (sure to be washed away during high tide).
Only one more day :(
Friday, we went back to Sea World to check out a few more things.
Firstly, the beaver was back. So. Had to see her again.
Next, we went to see the manta rays. Clark and my cousin Andrew rode the Manta roller-coaster next to it at least half a dozen times while we were feeding and playing with them.
We saw the sea otters. They are the most hyper animal I have ever seen. Ever.
Then we journeyed to the other side of the park to visit my mother's favorite animal.
Sea Lions. And boy, were they entertaining.
This guy wanted food something fierce.
Love them.
We went back to the beach house and had one last go at the waves.
We left our mark on the beach...
And then we ate a pizza that weighed more than me.
Saturday morning, we woke up early for our last walk on the beach... and guess what was still there?
Mount Seaweed. Don't mind the lack of make-up or my exhausted smile.
California was AMAZING.
Until next time.
