Sometimes I think my life will slow down eventually. And then it doesn't. If I blog once a week for the rest of the semester, I think that will suffice...

I attended the Health Educators Association of Utah Fall Forum, which is a fancy name for talking a lot about health topics that may or may not be interesting. I have come to the conclusion that my major is fascinating and fun in action, but it is quite possibly the most boring thing to discuss.
Overall, the Forum wasn't bad. Breaks between presentations were filled with Kneaders pastries and excellent views. The last presentation about wiped me out, so my friend Kember and I began rating his attempts at jokes. A bit of a failure. I will cut him some slack though, it's hard to make a presentation about the Affordable Care Act even remotely interesting.
The sunsets the past few weeks have been especially excellent. Lovely way to end the day.

We made the trek up to South Jordan to celebrate Avri and Macall's birthdays. Thanks to the lovely pancake bar, I discovered that pancakes with pears, powdered sugar and whipped cream are quite possibly the most delightful thing to grace this planet. Thank you Ashley. Thank you.
We were then introduced to a park hidden in the Northwest corner of Daybreak. Chris and I played on this lovely contraption. I want one.
I got to play with little miss Emmeline.
Brother and sister reverted to their childhood selves.
I got another little glimpse at what I call "daddy-Clark". He's going to be such a good one.
We ended the day with another beauty. I'm telling you, the past few weeks have been unreal.

Hockey people. I never realized how much I loved it. Until tonight, that is.
Video #1: This is what hockey is all about Charlie Brown. I knew hockey was violent but WHOA.
Video #2: The hockey Gods bestowed upon us a tie game, resulting in overtime and a shootout. Game winning shot right there.
Go team.
