I suppose by now I should be use to the insanity that fills my days. Three weeks left in the semester, and I feel my work load growing exponentially... one assignment completed, only to have two more magically appear. My blog will receive MUCH more attention come the end of April.
Firstly, I forgot to include these two gems from last week:
Dr. Emmeline has already chosen her career path, and at such a young age.
Couldn't be more proud.
Benji and Clark after going to the Croods.
Two of the goofiest smiles... I love them both.
I'm in the final planning stages for Mr. UVU, which will be my last event as a member of UVU Student Government. It will be an awesome way to end!
Here are my boys getting choreography down for the opening number.
On Thursday, the Student Activities branch got together for a round of bowling. In true SA flair, there were stakes involved... Two lowest scores get to be HUMILIATED. I can't explain yet, as a few members of UVUSA read my blog. Let's just say council meeting on Thursday is going to be interesting.
OH.
Did I mention that I got the second lowest score? YEAH.
It's a "RUFF" life.
Oh you bet it is.... super ruff....
Clark and I made the trek up to Idaho Falls to spend Easters with the Hatch clan. The festivities start off right with a tribute to the cutest movie stars EVER:
Minions for Easter. Doesn't get much better than this.
Immediately following the dying of eggs, a game of Elliot's imagination began to unfold. It was Elliot vs Hayley, Quinn, and Benji. Essentially, the game involved chucking k'nex arrows at each other. I protected the two little guys while I got pummeled by Elliot's onslaught of arrows. He's has a competitive soul, and I was no match for him.
Benji with his drill. Within moments of the game beginning, it transformed into a gun.
A brilliant invention.
Quinn hiding in the pillow castle.
He proved to be a great side-kick during the heat of battle.
I also got to spend some time with this big lover.
Mikki was my breakfast buddy.
Lovely weekend, all in all. I got my fix of Reed's Dairy Chocolate milk and had another great Easter up in Idaho Falls.
I must confess though. I've been using this blog post to procrastinate homework...
Back to reality.
Procrastinate all you want--I love reading your thoughts. We had so much fun with you guys last weekend...thanks for making the trek. And may you last through the month of April!
